About our Name

Why We Chose the Name "Vineyard of Faith"

The name Vineyard of Faith Academy is not about grapes or a physical vineyard. It is rooted in the words of Jesus found in John 15:5 (KJV):

"I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing."

This verse is the foundation of our ministry and academy.

We believe that true education is about more than academics. Knowledge is absolutely important, but the greatest goal is for children to know God, remain connected to Him, and grow into the people God has created them to be.

Just as branches receive life from the vine, we receive everything we need from Jesus. Without Him, we cannot bear lasting fruit. When we abide in Him, He nurtures our hearts, strengthens our faith, and helps us grow in wisdom, character, and purpose.

As homeschooling parents, we have the privilege of faithfully tending the children God has entrusted to us. We plant seeds of truth, encourage them through every season, and trust the Lord to bring the increase. At Vineyard of Faith Academy, we recognize that education is about more than books, grades, and graduation. While academic excellence is important and needed, we believe that true wisdom, lasting character, and genuine spiritual growth begin with Christ.

The heart of our academy is found in Jesus' reminder: "Without Me ye can do nothing."

We cannot teach with lasting purpose without Him.

Parents cannot raise their children in the strength they need without Him.

Students cannot become all God has created them to be without Him.

Our ministry cannot accomplish anything of eternal value without Him.

As we remain in Him, He is faithful to produce fruit in every season.

Faith is the foundation of that relationship. God's Word reminds us in Hebrews 11:6 (KJV):

"But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him."

Without faith, we cannot fully trust God's plan, follow His leading, or experience the life He desires for us. Faith is what keeps us connected to the True Vine. As we abide in Christ, our faith grows, and as our faith grows, He produces fruit in our lives for His glory.

The Theme:

Although our academy embraces the peaceful beauty of Florida...with its sunshine, oak trees, coastal charm, and natural landscapes... the name Vineyard is a reminder of something much greater. It points us to Jesus, the True Vine.

Our prayer is that every family who becomes part of Vineyard of Faith Academy will remain firmly rooted in Christ, growing in faith, bearing good fruit, and discovering God's unique purpose for their lives.

"Abide in Christ. Grow in Faith. Bear Fruit for His Glory."
