Welcome to Vineyard of Faith Academy!
Vineyard of Faith Academy exists to support families through Christian educational
oversight, encouragement, and administrative services within a respectful and faith-
based learning environment. We believe parents play the primary role in the education
and development of their children, and our Academy seeks to come alongside families
by providing guidance, structure, recordkeeping, and educational support.
Our desire is to create a supportive educational partnership that encourages academic
growth, personal responsibility, integrity, and Christ-centered values.
The mission of Vineyard of Faith Academy is to partner with families in providing Christ-
centered educational support rooted in biblical values, academic growth, integrity, and
personal responsibility.
The Academy seeks to encourage students spiritually, morally, and academically while
fostering respect, character, and lifelong learning within a supportive Christian
educational environment.
Vineyard of Faith Academy is a Christian educational ministry operating under the
spiritual covering of Vineyard of Faith Ministry.
The Academy provides faith-based educational support and oversight from a biblical
worldview rooted in Christian values, moral integrity, respect, personal responsibility,
and spiritual encouragement.
While families enrolled in the Academy may come from diverse Christian backgrounds
and educational approaches, all participating families are expected to respect the
Christian mission, values, policies, and standards of conduct established by Vineyard of
Faith Academy.
Enrollment with Vineyard of Faith Academy is not considered complete until all required
enrollment steps have been successfully completed and approved by the Academy.
The enrollment process includes:
• Submission of a completed application with all required documentation
• Payment of applicable enrollment fees
• Required phone meeting with Academy administration
• Acceptance approval by the Academy
• Assignment of an official student enrollment number
Students shall not be considered officially enrolled until the Academy has issued written
acceptance.
The Academy reserves the right to approve, deny, suspend, or discontinue enrollment
when deemed necessary for the integrity, mission, or operation of the Academy.
Parents or legal guardians retain primary responsibility for the direct education of their
students.
Parents are responsible for:
• Selecting curriculum materials
• Providing daily instruction and supervision
• Maintaining educational progress
• Ensuring compliance with Academy reporting requirements
• Submitting requested academic documentation on time
The Academy may provide curriculum guidance and educational support upon request;
however, final curriculum decisions remain the responsibility of the parent or guardian.
Families are required to submit a curriculum plan and course list to the Academy
annually.
Curriculum selections should reflect reasonable educational progress appropriate to the
student’s grade level and educational goals.
The Academy may provide recommendations, guidance, and educational support
services to assist families with curriculum planning upon request.
Each student enrolled in Vineyard of Faith Academy is required to complete an annual
academic assessment.
Assessment results must be submitted to the Academy each academic year and
become part of the student’s educational file.
The Academy may provide guidance regarding acceptable assessment options.
Families are required to maintain attendance records for each enrolled student.
Attendance and grade reports shall be submitted to the Academy quarterly according to
the Academy reporting schedule.
Failure to submit attendance or academic reports may result in delayed records
processing, probationary status, or discontinuation of enrollment services.
The Academy shall maintain basic academic records for enrolled students.
Official report cards may be issued annually based upon the academic information
submitted by parents or guardians.
Transcript requests, graduation documentation, and other official records may require
processing time and applicable fees.
Vineyard of Faith Academy seeks to maintain respectful, professional, and Christ-
centered communication and relationships with all enrolled families.
Families are expected to conduct themselves with honesty, cooperation, respect, and
integrity in all interactions with the Academy.
The Academy reserves the right to discontinue services or enrollment in situations
involving abusive conduct, unlawful behavior, repeated policy violations, or actions
determined to be harmful to the mission or operation of the Academy.
Vineyard of Faith Academy admits students of any race, color, national origin, and
ethnic origin to all rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally made available to
students of the Academy.
As a faith-based educational ministry, the Academy reserves the right to operate in
accordance with its Christian mission, values, and educational standards.
Vineyard of Faith Academy operates under the oversight of Vineyard of Faith Ministry
and in accordance with applicable laws governing private schools within the State of
Florida.
The Academy reserves the right to revise policies, procedures, fees, and handbook
provisions as necessary for the proper operation of the Academy.
ARTICLE I — NAME
The name of this educational ministry shall be Vineyard of Faith Academy, hereinafter referred to as “the Academy or VOF Academy.”
ARTICLE II — PURPOSE
Vineyard of Faith Academy exists as a Christian educational ministry operating under Vineyard of Faith Ministry for the purpose of providing faith-based educational support, private school enrollment, recordkeeping, and umbrella school services in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida.
The Academy seeks to support families by promoting academic growth, moral character, personal responsibility, and biblical values within a respectful Christian educational environment.
ARTICLE III — GOVERNING AUTHORITY
Vineyard of Faith Academy operates under the spiritual oversight and authority of Vineyard of Faith Ministry and functions as a private Christian educational ministry in accordance with applicable laws of the State of Florida governing private schools.
The Academy shall function in accordance with the governing principles, mission, and Christian values established by Vineyard of Faith Ministry while maintaining educational policies and procedures appropriate for the operation of a private umbrella school.
Final authority concerning Academy operations, policies, and administration shall remain under the leadership appointed by Vineyard of Faith Ministry.
ARTICLE IV — ADMINISTRATION
The Academy may maintain administrative leadership positions as deemed necessary for operation, including but not limited to:
• Administrator or Director
• Secretary
• Treasurer
• Educational Coordinators or Advisors
Administrative responsibilities may include student enrollment, recordkeeping, communication, financial administration, policy implementation, and general oversight of Academy operations.
Leadership appointments shall be determined by Vineyard of Faith Ministry leadership.
ARTICLE V — ENROLLMENT
Vineyard of Faith Academy serves families who voluntarily enroll in the Academy as their umbrella school for private school educational support services.
Enrollment may include homeschool students, independent study students, or other educational arrangements permitted under Florida law.
Parents or legal guardians retain primary responsibility for the direct education, curriculum choices, daily instruction, and educational supervision of their children unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
Families enrolled in the Academy are expected to respect the Academy’s Christian mission, policies, standards of conduct, and educational procedures.
The Academy reserves the right to deny, suspend, or terminate enrollment when deemed necessary for the protection, integrity, or mission of the Academy.
ARTICLE VI — RECORDS AND CONFIDENTIALITY
The Academy shall maintain reasonable educational records in accordance with applicable Florida private school requirements.
Such records may include:
• Enrollment documentation
• Attendance records
• Academic reports
• Transcripts
• Graduation documentation
• Correspondence and other administrative records
Student records shall be treated as confidential and released only as authorized by parents, legal guardians, applicable law, or Academy policy.
ARTICLE VII — TUITION, FEES, AND FINANCIAL POLICIES
The Academy may establish enrollment fees, tuition, service fees, transcript fees, graduation fees, or other educational fees as necessary for operation.
Fee schedules may be updated periodically by Academy leadership.
Unless otherwise stated in writing, fees paid to the Academy are non-refundable after processing or enrollment services have begun.
All Academy funds shall be used for educational, administrative, ministry, and operational purposes consistent with the mission of Vineyard of Faith Academy and Vineyard of Faith Ministry.
ARTICLE VIII — STANDARDS OF CONDUCT
The Academy seeks to maintain a respectful, encouraging, and Christ-centered environment for all participating families.
Families enrolled in the Academy are expected to conduct themselves with honesty, respect, integrity, and cooperation in communications and participation with the Academy.
The Academy reserves the right to address conduct that is disruptive, abusive, unlawful, threatening, or consistently contrary to the mission and policies of the Academy.
ARTICLE IX — NON-DISCRIMINATION
Vineyard of Faith Academy admits students of any race, color, national origin, and ethnic origin to all rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally made available to students of the Academy.
The Academy does not unlawfully discriminate in the administration of educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship programs, or educational activities.
As a faith-based educational ministry, the Academy reserves the right to operate in accordance with its Christian mission, values, and sincerely held religious beliefs.
ARTICLE X — AMENDMENTS
These By-Laws may be amended, revised, or updated as necessary by the leadership of Vineyard of Faith Ministry in order to maintain proper operation, legal compliance, and alignment with the Academy’s mission and educational purpose.
ARTICLE XI — FINAL AUTHORITY
Vineyard of Faith Academy operates as a ministry extension of Vineyard of Faith Ministry.
Any matters not specifically addressed within these By-Laws shall be determined by Academy leadership under the oversight of Vineyard of Faith Ministry and in accordance with applicable law, ministry policies, and the Academy’s Christian educational mission.
